SANTONGA VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI PARK
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

PROJECT

Concept Plan, Feasibility Study, August 2008. Private project, developed by Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, one of the most prestigious and oldest safari lodges in Africa.

Located in the vicinity of Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River, within a national park, the project offers attractions that retain visitors for more nights in the area, in a joint effort with hotels and restaurants companies. The concept is based in orchestrated close encounters with wild animals. A large mixed twenty – hectare savanna, contained by a natural creek, exhibits large ungulates, including a variety of antelopes, giraffes, zebras, rhinos and hippos.

A visitor path offers a variety of interactive experiences. The park also interprets the natural history of the place, including human evolution and hunter gatherer life.   Restaurants, craft shops, wildlife shows and local cultural manifestations complete the picture of an international tourist attraction
